Kohler Cup Golf Day

Brief:

The Kohler Cup Charity Golf Day, now in its sixth year, is an annual tribute to Rod Kohler – former global sports marketing agency co-founder and business partner of Merrick Haydon. Held on 3 October 2025 at the stunning Goodwood Downs Golf Course, the challenge was on to stage the biggest day yet and keep it fresh and above all fun.

Approach:

We worked closely with Golf at Goodwood to deliver a premium experience across 18 holes on the renowned Downs Course. Entry fees included a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Action, and the day was enriched with prizes, fun awards and opportunities for networking. Special prizes were sought with leading golf brands including from J.LINDEBERG and Graham Chase (manager for PGA Tour and DP World Tour golfer Matt Wallace) to ensure high-quality prizes and a strong sense of prestige.

Impact:

The Kohler Cup has evolved into a highlight of the autumn golfing calendar, with 2025 seeing record participation and increased awareness for Pancreatic Cancer Action. Beyond fundraising, it reinforced Rod Kohler’s legacy, deepened community ties and strengthened relationships with premium brands and partners. The event continued to showcase how sport can unite people behind a meaningful cause while maintaining an exceptional participant experience. The event’s seamless organisation, high-end branding and focus on legacy elevated it beyond a typical charity tournament. The event drew its largest field yet with over 60 players, raising much-needed funds for Pancreatic Cancer Action, transforming a day on the fairways into a powerful platform for awareness and action for the charity.
